The RIAA is continuing its crusade against the people who actually like the music they are pushing. But according to a new report from the Washington Post, they are now arguing that simply making a copy of a CD you legally purchased should be against the law, too, in court papers filed earlier.

Windy City rapper Rhymefest and associate DJ Mark Ronson recently teamed up to release a Michael Jackson homage mixtape, "Man in the Mirror."

The disc features tracks entirely sampled from Michael Jackson and Jackson 5 songs.

"This was very important to me, seeing as how Michael Jackson is responsible for a revolution in music that took place when he dropped a fu*king bomb on the planet called Thriller," Fest wrote on his myspace blog.

Q. You were only seven when Thriller peaked. Was Michael Jackson on your radar when --

A: [Stares incredulously] Was Michael Jackson on my radar?! I'm black. Michael Jordan, Michael Jackson, and Mike Tyson. Michael Jackson is my favorite artist of all time. Every time I hit the stage, every time I write a song, every time I write a rap, every performance I do, every time I pick out an outfit, I think about Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson is synonymous with the greatest that you could possibly do in music.
