Jackson Pops Up in London - MiniBullet#40

MAY 22 2007 - Guess who popped up in London? King of Pop Michael Jackson made what some consider to be a surprise visit to London today (May 22). [gallery]285[/gallery]Jackson reportedly flew in to Heathrow Airport, with a police escort, from Los Angeles California.

He was sans Prince, Paris & Blanket, his three children, at the airport according to reports. At the moment, there is only speculation as to why the singer is in London. Some claim he will be meeting with record executives and others speculate he would be meeting old family friend David Gest. These reports are unconfirmed as of now.

Jackson last appeared in London to accept an award at the World Music Awards for his musical achievements.

Contrary to information found in reports today, Jackson had never planned to launch a "comeback performance" at the World Music Awards.

Just a few days ago, Jackson reached a settlement with an auction house he had sued over his memorabilia (see Auction House Settles Lawsuit with Michael Jackson about Memorabilia - MB#39).
