Submitted Date: 2004/4/14
Description:
April 14 2004
Guests: Diane Dimond and David Schwartz (no, not that one)
-This alleged "new accuser" is a hoax
-Dimond says Santa Barbara police already investigated and deemed it a hoax
-Says the accuser's story was all over the place (my note: I guess he isn't as good a liar as this current accuser)
-Says at firs tthe accuser claimed he was abused when he was 10-14, then claimed it was when he was 3-5, then he claimed it was when he was 15
-Says mother of this person has mental issues (sound familiar?)
-Says this 18 year old is claiming to have been abused in the late 80s. He would have been 2 or so at the time.
-Says that her LAPD sources just don't buy it. But LAPD alerted the media they were investigating anyway.
-Says accuser described the inside of Havenhurst and claimed abuse during a time when Jackson didn't even live there
-Says the prosecution in Santa Barbara isn't touching this case
-she now claims the 93 accuser hasn't and won't testify in front of the grand jury
-she tries to explain away why the 93 accuser isn't cooperating with the prosecution by spinning some story about a legality, which still doesn't fly.
-David Schartz says this works to the advantage of the defense and it will hurt the prosecution in the end
-says this is one of the reasons why gag orders don't work
-Catherine Crier also says that the defense now has a clean scam they can point to as a way to prove how people are trying to scam Jackson.
My notes: Why didn't SB police charge this person for making these false claims if they already investigated and found it not to be true??
