WHAT THE…..?? MARCH 29 2005 -- The media has completely overlooked the fact that the defense found out Jordan Chandler, the 1993 accuser, filed for legal emancipation from both his parents after he received a settlement and after his biological father, Evan Chandler, sued Michael Jackson AGAIN and lost. If you remember, the prosecution is claiming his mother will come in and testify about what allegedly happened to him. Well, what could she have to offer and how will she stave off cross-examination from Tom Mesereau about this issue? And if we didn't have access to the transcripts -- as I'm continuing to write up the next MJEOL Bullet(s) about the defense bombshells that were dropped in court during the 1108 hearing-- we still wouldn't have had citable evidence of this. This has been a rumor for a very long time. It is only now that the public has been given confirmation that he indeed didn't want to have anything more to do with his parents. From the court transcripts:
3760 14 After the settlement, the father then filed a new 15 lawsuit against Mr. Jackson wanting 30 million more 16 dollars. That was litigated and he lost. You have 17 all sorts of collateral litigation, and eventually 18 Mr. Chandler filed papers in Superior Court seeking 19 legal emancipation from his parents. Source: March 28 2005: 1108 Arguments
This his extremely interesting. Of course pro-prosecution pundits will try to explain this away as they've tried to explain away every inconsistency, every lie, and every illogical theory coming from the prosecution. And we've been hearing other rumors and reports that the accuser may shock the prosecution by what he could say today as opposed to what he said back then, under the control of his father. Just wanted to point this out while we all continue to read through the court transcripts.
