He was with three children whose faces were also covered by scarves. According to the original report, an unidentified woman was accompanied them. He was apparently seen leaving Marina Mall in the Bahrain capital, holding the hand of one of his children. According to the report, on the way out a back door, he shook hands with security guards. The report says that the allegedly unidentified woman was dressed in the black robe called an abaya, jeans and a scarf that partially covered her face, and she had the two other children. All three children were wrapped in black scarves and wore yellow shirts and sweatpants or khakis without robes, according to the article.
