Livinginperu.com reported that besides performing rituals to help protect world leaders, including President-elect Barack Obama in the year 2009, the Peruvian Shamans also "dedicated a cleaning ceremony for the King of Pop".
Don’t get too thrilled though. The Peru shamans also performed rituals for Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro in hopes of helping those leaders "rid themselves and their countries of bad spirits".
