RUMOR MILL SLAP DOWN: According to “sources” a former bodyguard claims Michael Jackson was taking up to 100 Xanax a day, then down to 30-40 Xanax a day, then moved down to 10 a day.
Red flag 1 : 100 pills a day? 30-40 pills a day? In a guy who, some say, weighed less than 130 pounds? Nah. I’m not buying that. If he were as heavy as Rush Limbaugh, maybe (or maybe not), but not in someone who some claimed was anywhere from 112-125 pounds.
Red flag 2 : In addition, the last part of the guard’s story makes no sense. If Jackson were “down to 10 a day”, then why is he dead now? According to the unsubstantiated claims of the bodyguard, he was taking LESS than he was before, so why is hell is he dead? This makes no sense CNN. Why is this breaking news?
Ah I see! The only way this could make sense is if this alleged “breaking news” happened… 5 years ago! Yeah, you guessed right. CNN rehashed 5 year old unsubstantiated allegations made during the 2005 trial.
It wasn’t even clear whether or not the former bodyguard was even working for Michael Jackson at the time he made the unsubstantiated claims about prescription drugs.
Nah. Come on now. You’re gonna have to do better than that. Stop trying to out-do TMZ. Stick to what you know.
