Documents show Michael Jackson filed request to issue public statement SANTA MARIA, Calif. The judge in Michael Jackson’s child molestation case has released court documents showing Jackson filed a request to issue a public statement. It was concerning the investigation into Jackson’s claims that he was “manhandled” last year when he was taken into custody. A leaked report by the state attorney general’s office rejected Jackson’s charge. Jackson’s proposed public statement was included in the court filing, but was blacked out by the court. Meanwhile, hearings were recessed today to give defense lawyers time to draft a list of items seized from Jackson’s Neverland Ranch that they want suppressed as evidence. Jackson’s lawyers are expected to call more witnesses, including the current husband of the accuser’s mother, when the hearing resumes tomorrow. :nav Source: http://www.kesq.com/Global/story.asp?S=2193250
