EURWeb: Jackson Shreds Financial & Musical Limits, Becomes Target – MiniB#24

EURWeb: Jackson Shreds Financial & Musical Limits, Becomes Target – MiniBullet#24 Christopher Hamilton has published an article at EURWEB about Michael Jackson. He makes some highly interesting points which, of course, this community has been aware of for ages. In his piece titled “IS IT BECAUSE HE’S BLACK?: What They Don’t Want You to Know About Michael Jackson”, he says that Jackson has ascended to a level which no other black person has achieved before. The article has me thinking again about issues of Jackson’s popularity, his meaning to the community, and his literally earth-shattering achievements. Hamilton writes:

All anyone has to do is look when Michael started being portrayed as “Crazy.” It wasn’t during the “Thriller” years. It’s cool being a song and dance man. That’s what they want. DON’T DARE BECOME A THINKING BUSINESSMAN. DON’T DARE BUY THE BEATLES CATALOG. DON’T DARE MARRY ELVIS’ DAUGHTER. DON’T DARE BEAT THE RECORD INDUSTRY AT THEIR OWN GAME. Michael started being labeled crazy when he began making business moves that no one had been successful at doing. Michael took two cultural icons and shattered them to pieces. Trial Review: Robson Testimony Begins to Crush 1108 Accusations– MB#295

Trial Review: Robson Testimony Begins to Crush 1108 Accusations– MB#295

JANUARY 4 2006 — MJEOL’s Trial Reviews now brings us to the testimony of Wade Robson and the issue of what’s called “1108 evidence” or alleged “prior bad acts”.

In Jackson’s “case”, calling what Judge Rodney Melville allowed into this trial “prior bad acts” didn’t fit. What this “1108 evidence” amounted to was a bunch of unfounded accusations with zero evidence to back them up, leveled by a gang of people who were literally sued into bankruptcy by Jackson.

The way this played out in the Jackson trial, which is very dangerous to an innocent and famous person, is that prosecutors were allowed to call witnesses to the stand to make accusations concerning Jackson’s behavior with children in the past.

Three prosecution witnesses, Ralph Chacon, Adrian McManus and Kassim Abdool came in under a desperate attempt by prosecutors to get a conviction against Jackson.

The prosecution’s shortsighted, vindictive nature wouldn’t prepare them for what the defense revealed in court about these witnesses’ backgrounds.

Trial Review: Accuser Arrogant, Testimony Unbelievable – MB#294 UPDATE

Trial Review: Accuser Arrogant, Testimony Unbelievable – MB#294 UPDATED JANUARY 2 2006 JANUARY 1 2006 — In its review of the Michael Jackson trial, MJEOL comes to the testimony of the accuser, Gavin Arvizo. Previous trial reviews have focused on the testimonies of the accuser’s brother (Star Arvizo) and sister (Davellin Arvizo), as well as stunning admissions from Ann Kite (Gabriel) and the 8th-circle-of-hell-bound Martin Bashir. Not having to solely rely on media reports about the accuser’s testimony is one of the most important means of understanding just how absurd the allegations against Jackson were. The then 15 year old Arvizo was all over the place with his testimony under cross-examination. Prosecutors tried to sell the notion that the accuser and his brother were innocent lambs who only became violent and outrageous hellions after they were contaminated by Jackson’s Neverland; “drinking” and getting “molested”. Unlike how media pundits remember, Jackson did not go to the hospital the first day of the accuser’s testimony. His testimony began right after the testimony of his younger brother, Star Arvizo, on March 9 2005. Just another example of the media remembering the way it WASN’T, instead of the way it was.

Julio Avila: Accuser’s brother had porn mags – History Highlight

According to a new document, the prosecution is trying to keep Julio Avila off the stand. Avila had some very interesting things to say about the accuser and his brother. Avila, in charge of operating the Neverland amusement park rides, was there when the Arvizo family visited the ranch. He says he observed both Star and Gavin Arvizo on several occasions. Avila says at one point, Gavin Arvizo told him that people at school were making fun of him and that Jackson was letting the family stay at the ranch so they could get away from harassment. Also from Avila’s declaration:

During their stay at the ranch, Star Arvizo wrote the words “You suck [d_ck]” on a wall in one of the control rooms in the park. Star also brought pornographic magazines to the park. I saw him bring a pornographic magazine to the park that he had hidden inside his pants. Star hid his pornographic magazines in various areas of the park, including inside the control box of the park stereo.

This porn magazine corroborates the testimony from M. Gomez who says during their stay at Neverland while she was cleaning the guest suite to which the accuser and brother were assigned, she saw pornographic magazines in a backpack she says belonged to Star Arvizo. This is certainly far from the picture prosecutors and the accuser’s themselves tried to paint. They testified the only time they’ve seen pornographic magazines is when Jackson allegedly showed them and that the only time they were involved with alcohol is when Jackson allegedly gave it to them. Obviously the jury may not longer find either of their testimonies credible. Here are the image scans:

Trial Review: Testimony of Brother Filled with Inconsistencies – MB#293

Trial Review: Testimony of Brother Filled with Inconsistencies & Illogical Allegations – MB #293 DECEMBER 27 2005 – Continuing our look back at the Michael Jackson trial, MJEOL comes to the testimony of the accuser’s brother, Star Arvizo (Star A.). The younger Arvizo alleged to have witnessed sexual abuse, twice, against his brother. His alleged eye witness accounts seemed, to many, to be a bit too coincidental upon first hearing about them in various media reports. As with the accuser’s sister (Davellin Arvizo), having the brother back up some of the allegations is a form of built-in corroboration…if you want to believe the tall-tale.
