DONT WANT TO MISS A THING: Hit songwriter Diane Warren has followed Marty Bandier to Sony/ATV, inking a deal with the pubbery to exclusively administer her catalog on a worldwide basis, Brian Garrity reports in the N.Y. Post.
Warren spent the last 20 years with EMI Music Publishing, much of it working with Bandier. The snagging of Warrens catalog is the latest score for the aggressive publishing exec, who has picked up Famous Music and the Leiber/Stoller catalog, among other prizes, since taking the reins of Sony/ATV early this year.
Warren’s EMP deal expired in June, and shes been heavily rushed since then. Financial terms werent disclosed. (9/26a)
