Tape Public Never Saw is Evidence of Conspiracy?– Bullet #176

Tape Public Never Saw is ‘Evidence’ of Conspiracy? – MJEOL Bullet #176 Santa Barbara News-Press writer Dawn Hobbs has written an article, “Tape called evidence of Jackson conspiracy,” which cites leaks from either prosecutors or law enforcement about a tape of the accuser and family. Apparently the accuser and his mother are caught on tape praising Jackson. Hobbs says her sources tell her that this is the tape prosecutors will use to claim a “conspiracy” against the family.

According to prosecutors, the tape was the cause for the alleged “conspiracy/abduction/kidnapping/threats”; the reason for the alleged trip to another country; the reason for so much prosecution-alleged panic. The problem is that the tape (or tapes) was never shown to the public in any form either before or after late Feb 2003.

Remember, this allegedly took place some time in Feb 2003. There was no hint or even suggestion of the family making a molestation allegation against Jackson at this time. So this tape certainly wasn’t made as a result of any allegation coming from the family.

Jackson Fans Rip VH1 Movie from Stem to Stern– Bullet #175

Jackson Fans Rip VH1 Movie from Stem to Stern – MJEOL Bullet #175 Biopic ridiculous and wildly inaccurate After media reviews tearing the VH1 movie “Man in the Mirror” apart, Jackson’s fans are also ripping the movie apart from stem to stern; questioning everything from the accuracy to the choice of actors. In a mad rush to be one of the entities to financially benefit from Jackson’s fame and legal troubles, VH1 created what some have characterized as a “dramatization” of media articles, cliché’s and inaccurate info staring a ‘cartoon character’ version of Michael Jackson. This version is often seen through the lens of misinterpretations, half-truths, or outright lies.

The movie, as expected, portrayed Jackson to be an immature, selfish nutcase who doesn’t know how to live in the world, according to many fans at the powerhouse fan site MJJForum and even the vh1 messageboard. The sentiment is also shared by members of this site, MJEOL, where the majority of fans who posted their reviews feel that the movie lacked both depth and enough truthfulness to be even remotely accurate.

Incomplete, Uncertified, & Inconsistent docs for Warrants?– Bullet #174

Incomplete, Uncertified, & Inconsistent docs for 69 Search Warrants? – MJEOL Bullet #174 Michael Jackson’s lawyers filed a Status Report with the court today (August 5 2004) in which they tell Judge Rodney Melville that prosecutors have turned over incomplete, inconsistent documents to the defense. Defense attorneys say prosecutors are handing over non-certified copies of some 69 (or as many as 74) search warrants; some with blanks and some that are mysteriously missing pages.

Prosecutors Break Gag Order, Defense Ask for Clarification– Bullet #173

Prosecutors Break Gag Order, Defense Ask for Clarification – MJEOL Bullet #173 Michael Jackson’s defense attorneys have asked Judge Rodney Melville for a clarification of the gag order. Apparently two prosecutors, Tom Sneddon and Ron Zonen, engaged in behavior where they broke the gag order. Sneddon appeared on a discussion panel in Canada where he was specifically discussing this “case”, according to a witness who was present at the conference. Zonen did an interview with the Santa Barbara News-Press about this “case” as well.

Now, with prosecutors running to the judge in regards to one statement Jackson released about the 93 “case”, it seems rather imperative that Jackson’s lawyers ask the judge to check into the fact that the current district attorney appeared on a discussion panel discussing this “case” and that his colleague spoke directly to the media about it.

Questionable Testimony Catalyst for Conspiracy Charge?– Bullet #172

Questionable Testimony Catalyst for Conspiracy Charge? – MJEOL Bullet #172 In MJEOL Bullet #170, we learned about some of the completely asinine theories and allegations prosecutors are claiming in the Michael Jackson “case”. There is a great deal of information found in the defense’s rebuttal motion (Reply to Plaintiff’s Opposition to Defendant’s Motion to Set Aside the Indictment). The defense continues to deconstruct the odd theories around this “case,” and blast the misconduct by prosecutors involving the searches, the grand jury process and a witness who couldn’t possible have known anything to which she testified in front of the grand jury.

The defense tells Judge Rodney Melville that there was a complete lack of probable cause presented to the judge who issued the search warrants.  That judge, Thomas Adams, is said to be the one who has issued dozens of search warrants—last count was 57—to prosecutors in this “case”.
